Please don’t talk to me, I am beyond exhausted. Why must I go to work today? Trust me, we all face this! Now internally, we might be blooming with friendliness, or perhaps we are nice yet quiet. Either way, being cordial is a fundamental step of success in many ways. Whether you work sales, HR, run the household, or attending school, it is a great value to have. Kindness is more […]
Have you ever had a conversation toward a new person last only a few seconds? Or filled with awkwardness? Of course, we all have encountered this scenario! Over time, we learn that the generic “Hello, how are you?” is kind, yet seldom spreads the conversation further. It leaves gaps and can make a person feel insignificant, answering “good” to that question numerous times. Ready to boost confidence and become original […]
“Ah yes, the project is going- Wait, what did you say again?” At one point or another, we all have had this moment – the sense of essentially going through a washing machine. You grasp one conversation, in full swing of details, when the next moment the connection abruptly ends. I think it is time we finally wrestle this weightless feeling to the ground. Not only will it boost our […]
In a world full of people, what will make me stand out? My ideas? I feel a lot of us struggle with this concept of standing out in order to get the best job, a successful business, or first house. Think about it: 7.5 billion people here on Earth right now, 7.5 billion brains flowing with brilliant ideas. That’s a lot, isn’t it? Well, when it comes to life, I feel we all […]
One of the highest of human duties is the duty of encouragement…It is easy to laugh at men’s ideals; it is easy to pour cold water on their enthusiasm; it is easy to discourage others. The world is full of discouragers. We have a duty to encourage one another. Many a time a word of praise or thanks or appreciation or cheer has kept a man on his feet. Blessed is the man who speaks such a word.”

Heya readers! Once again I hope everyone had a great week. This week we were able to get a few interviews done and I’m looking forward to posting them soon. ( After slight editing and permission from our guest of course ! ) Anyway, Heres this week’s round of questions! [ A much easier batch ty for this xD ] The way it works is every week readers submit their answers to […]
So carefree, so young, how can I reach that again? Children are brilliantly carefree, creative, inspirational, and in many cases, even world-changing. Yet what makes them so different from adults? Many adults find themselves equally as young, through the idea of tapping into their inner child. There are key ideas to expand our horizons, aiding in school, work, or at home. Let’s get started, no? Try something simple. Young children typically […]
Hey, Everyone! I’m enjoying the project and this week’s round of questions have given me much to think on. I find myself struggling to search within myself to answer some of them. Introspectively I’ve found that it is been difficult to put my thoughts into words. Especially when it comes to elaborating on the ideas I stand on. That being said, this project been forcing me to sit down understand […]

Hey, everyone, I hope you all had an amazingly productive week and here’s this weeks round of questions. The way it works is every week readers submit their answers to the questions in the comments section along with a question they would like to see next week. You can choose to answer as many of the questions you’d like. I understand sometimes a question can be sensitive in nature and one wouldn’t […]
Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I will not forget you. Love me and I may be forced to love you.

Hi, everyone. Here’s an idea that has been brewing in the back of my mind. In light of the XPN Sunday Pow Wow, I’d like to create an audio section for XP Nuggets where we would highlight fellow bloggers and individuals that would like to be “interviewed”. I envision it as something very informal. A meet and greet of who you are as a person and highlighting you and your blog. I hope to […]

My friends, we all lack that good dose of motivation, and sometimes our friends or family do too. A lot of us write a ton of lists, right? To-Do’s, house cleaning, shopping lists and recipes, goals. Things are often easier said (or written) than done, that is for sure. Then you got the rest of us who just go with the flow. So how do we motivate ourselves and others? It’s quite […]
When you are filled with ambition, goals, & dreams everything else can be a blur. We often are so enamored by our vision it becomes the only the thing we see. Tunnel vision leads to the neglect of important aspects of our lives. Relationships suffer. Personal well-being in terms of mental & physical health and even hygiene also gets put on the backburner. Responsibilities in terms of chores, maintenance and […]
Hey Journal! Wow. I can’t put into words the amount of fun I’ve had taking a pen to paper and tapping away at the keyboard. There’s so much you can do with writing. So much opportunity and experiences have been laid out in front of me. Write a blog? Write a comic? Write a book? Write a script? Write a song? Write a Video Skit? If you apply your self with […]
As long as you keep one foot in the real world while the other foot’s in a fairy tale, that fairy tale is going to seem kind of attainable.
Hey everyone! We’d like to start a new project for XP Nuggets! Every Sunday we will have a question(s) of the week! Have you ever thought of trying something new and you hesitated? Maybe you thought to yourself…Me do that? No way! That won’t work. There’s something to be said about taking a vision & giving it everything you got. You may not accomplish what you set out to, or the end result isn’t what you expected. But at the end of it all, there’s something special in the process. A different […]
Oh boy, big interview today… The make or break of my future. But I can’t, I can’t do it. No matter how confident you are, we all face times where speaking is difficult. Perhaps you had the opportunity to speak to someone famous, a stranger whom you helped, or a company for your first job. We have all faced conversation in ours lives, and there are billions of ways to […]
“If you doubted your fears and not your dreams, What could you accomplish?”
Courage, it is such a beautiful, yet a unapproachable word. Do you remember being a young child, sitting on the edge of your bed, feet swinging, the room pitch black? Everything looked like monsters in the shadows, and you were more than certain the Boogy Man was living under your bed. I bet you were terrified like Medusa was looking you in the face. But you know what? It’s time […]
I love mnemonics. They are catchy, quick and can snap you back into a winning mindset. Here’s one that recently came to mind. PUSH. Persist Until Shit Happens. Think of the expression “Get out there and Make Shit Happen”. Excuse the language but I tried “Special”. It didn’t seem to fit. Neither did “something”. It lacks the umph. The only word that expresses the meaning I intend is the word […]
In life, there are moments when we feel we are alone in our endeavors. It may be working on a project, learning a skill, or just getting through the day. The truth is we are never alone in anything we do. There’s support from your friends you reach out for advice. Support from your spouse and family members with love and sometimes… criticism. ( Love you more Hun ) Support […]
Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.
How many of you fabulous people have walked down the street and found your eyes drawn to a building, person, or object different from what you are familiar with? I feel we all have at some point, and so I wish to express the beauty in that. If there is one thing you should know about me is my love for beautiful differences. Now it is time I help you […]
” If you have a dream in this world, do not let anything stop you from trying to reach it. There is no guarantee you will succeed, but you will already have failed if you don’t even try.”
I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Riddle. He was kind enough take time out of his day to share his insight and expertise of the comic industry. A big thank you to Mr. Riddle for dropping a few Nuggets of wisdom! Check out his FB page here!

Have you ever pondered as to why that one kid won’t stop smiling? Almost drives you insane at moments, doesn’t it? He won’t stop smiling about nothing! No worries, I think we’ve all been there once or twice. Yet there is a secret to his smile, and to what will be yours as well. S.M.I.L.E, the fundamentals of all life. It’s more than a quick lift of the lips to express joy, […]
****Disclaimer**** This post actually tested my own patience. At first, I found myself not able to string words together on the page. With my mind blank and fingers unable to strike away at the keys, I started to become frustrated and flustered. Even when my fingers started to find a rhythm, the words never seemed to add up. I started to ask “Why am I even writing about this?”, “Should […]

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love individuality. When I see someone strive to be their own person, I can’t help but smile that entire day. It’s magical. I absolutely love seeing people choose to be different. My go-to, generic advice has always been: “work on yourself”. Sometimes my friends will come to me with problems and my answer to them almost always is […]

Hello, readers! Let’s follow up on the topic of dreams with a practical guide. Now, It’s one thing to picture a dream with your mind’s eye and say that’s what I want, but how do we go about bringing it to life? How do we turn a make-believe story into a reality that we can touch with our own hands and see with our own eyes? What steps do we […]
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
This’ll be a pretty straightforward one, so sit back, relax, and (hopefully) enjoy! Over here in the Pacific Northwest, the days have been getting significantly longer and people have been complaining less and less about the all-too-familiar Washington rain. I can’t complain one bit. The state’s beautiful with terrible weather, so you can imagine how things go when the clouds decide to stay home. So this is only my second […]

Light yourself on fire with passion and people will come from miles to watch you burn.
Finding your passion(s), at least to me, is a huge part of enjoying life. Personally, I used to feel pretty empty and unproductive before I actually went out and tried to find something I enjoyed. Everyone’s different, so take everything I have to say with a grain of salt. This is just a little bit of my life and what worked for me. Hopefully, something sticks and you find a […]

Dear Journal, I’m sorry I haven’t written to you in awhile. I know you must miss the feel of graphite against your pages. It’s been twenty-three days, four hours, and twenty-seven minutes since I started a new chapter in my life. “Rise and Fall of a blog” Ha! I only added the fall part for insurance. Who knows how long this mighty ship will sail? Only time will tell. Though […]
We all have one but no one else can hear it. Yep, you got it. I’m talking about that little voice in your head. Sometimes it can do more harm than good. Nobody else can hear the voice whisper “Oh, I can’t do that” or “I’m not good enough”. Do you remember the first time you heard it? How about the first time you hesitated to do something? When […]

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
What is being grateful? It is the action of taking a small moment in life to give thanks. When was the last time you stopped and were truly thankful for something? It may have been the time you were almost in an accident and said to yourself “Thank God”. Why should we wait for a life changing event to be grateful for the things in life that bring us joy? […]
Among those whom I like or admire, I can find no common denominator, but among those whom I love, I can: all of them make me laugh. — W. H. Auden
Are we addicted to the keystrokes? Do we live for the fame? Do we just want someone to hear our voice? Everyday thousands of blogpost get published to the world wide web. Many of the post, like this one are just a blip on the radar. So why do we do it? We are human in need of self-expression. You ever have something happen to you where you just couldn’t […]
